1. Confirm technical specifications

Align with BOQ on total thickness, wear layer, slip rating (R9/R10) and fire classification.
Match colour references against approved mockups; request sample boards for client sign-off.
Check subfloor tolerances (usually <3 mm variation over 2 m) and specify primer/skim coat where needed.

2. Moisture & substrate preparation

Vinyl flooring adhesives require controlled moisture. Conduct moisture tests (CM or RH) before shipment and sequence screed drying with HVAC commissioning. For healthcare projects, confirm cove-form skirting and weld rods are available to maintain infection-control requirements.

3. Accessory checklist

SPC & LVT Flooring kits — matching trims, reducers and stair nosings.
Wall & Floor Skirting — PVC/PS skirting to protect wet areas and corridors.
